Vocabulary Quiz privacy policy

Vocabulary Quiz provides English vocabulary practice in the Chrome side panel.

Data and use

A round ends at panel close or a new pack. Chrome TTS speaks selected words. Storage holds scores, missed/seen IDs, study cards, a daily counter and rating state in vq.localBoard, vq.missQueue, vq.seen, vqCards, vqToday and vocabularyQuizRatePrompt. Chrome storage also keeps a random install-count identifier.

Enabling audio and choosing Download fetches spoken word packs from this site; only the request and IP address are sent.

Analytics

The welcome page and the hosted goodbye and rating pages carry analytics used to count installs and removals by country. The welcome page opens once after the first installation and sends the install count through this site, which derives the country from the connection and stores nothing.

Feedback and reviews

1-3 stars open feedback; removal may open an optional goodbye survey. Submitted comments reach the publisher through Telegram. 4-5 stars open Chrome Web Store reviews once listed.

Retention and deletion

Uninstall removes all seven storage entries; dismissing a rating prompt preserves its record to suppress further prompts.

Where GDPR applies, processing relies on consent and providing requested features. Where applicable, you can learn how data is used, access, correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, complain to a supervisory authority and exercise California rights without discrimination.

Vocabulary Quiz is intended for users 13 and older.

Limited Use

Sale and unrelated use or sharing of user data are prohibited.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
